Fred, our rescue dog, is an inspiration for my drawings. We adopted Fred a year ago when we lost our previous gorgeous doggie, Gizmo, who was also a rescue dog and also an inspiration for our books and my art.

I had a an exhibition in 2019 of dog paintings, sculptures etc. The paintings were based on dogs I’ve met in the refuges and abandoned on the streets here in Tenerife.

The aim was to get people to think about the plight of these abandoned dogs, show that there can be a better future for them, and to motivate people to do something. The message is: visit a refuge and rescue a dog! Examples of artwork here
